Deutsche See

UX / UI Design
Project Overview
With 1900 employees, Deutsche See is the largest supplier of fish and seafood in Germany. The requirements for the company's digital presence and web offerings have changed considerably over the past few years.

The online offering, which includes company presentation, company news, product information, customer service, editorial content, event booking and, in particular, e-commerce, is visually inconsistent and lacks meaningful links. The navigation structure was not developed further, content from the B2B and B2C areas is not placed in a target group-specific manner and in combination with an overloaded layout, users had problems finding orientation and consuming content accordingly.

By revising the information architecture and the visual interface, which should guide users, give space to the content and be consistent with the brand, as well as contextual linking of the content, the user experience should be significantly improved, conversion increased, brand consistency achieved and the digital offering prepared for future development.
